Welcome to Coraline’s French Corner! By accessing and using this site, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Site Overview

Coraline’s French Corner offers online 1:1 lessons for learning French. Students can create an account, book individual lessons, and access educational resources. These services are intended for personal use only.
All users must be at least 16 years old to register and use our services. If you are under 16, you must have explicit parental or guardian consent.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this site, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

3. Registration and Account Access

To access online lessons, students must create a personal account. The information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and the use of your account.

4. Lesson Booking and Cancellation

  • Minimum Booking Time: Lessons must be booked at least 12 hours in advance.
  • Rescheduling Time Limit: You can reschedule a lesson up to 12 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Minimum Cancellation Time: Lessons must be canceled at least 1 day before the scheduled time. If a lesson is canceled by the student, they must contact our team to arrange a new time, as they will not be able to reschedule the lesson independently.
  • Missed Lessons: If you miss a lesson without prior cancellation or rescheduling, it will be considered as completed, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.
  • Advance Booking Period: You can book lessons up to 60 days in advance.
  • Time Zone: Booking slots are automatically displayed in the student’s time zone.

5. Pricing and Payments

Lesson prices are listed on the site. Payments must be made at the time of booking via our secure platform. We accept the following forms of payment:

In addition to Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, MasterCard and American Express, we may accept other payment methods that are handled by Stripe or Paypal services at checkout. This list is therefore not exhaustive and may change.

Lessons are only confirmed once payment has been received. In case of non-payment or attempted fraud, Coraline’s French Corner reserves the right to cancel the booking.

6. Subscriptions

Billing and Renewal

Your subscription will continue and automatically renew unless canceled. You consent to our charging your payment method on a recurring basis without requiring your prior approval for each recurring charge, until such time as you cancel the applicable order. The billing cycle is monthly.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term. If you have any questions or are unsatisfied with our Services, please send us an email using our contact page

Fee Changes

We may, from time to time, adjust the subscription fee and will notify you of any price changes in accordance with applicable law.

7. Sales Policy

All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.
The unique case for a refund may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as technical issues caused by our platform that prevent the lesson from taking place. Such requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the missed lesson.

8. Use of Site Resources

The content (articles, documents, lesson materials) made available on the site or on the personal Google doc shared only with you is the property of Coraline’s French Corner and is protected by copyright. It is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use.
Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or distribution of any materials is strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension or termination of your account, as well as potential legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

Coraline’s French Corner cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the site. In case of technical issues, we will do our best to restore the service promptly. We disclaim any liability for potential damages or inconveniences resulting from the use of the site.

10. User Obligations

By using this site, you agree not to post any offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to suspend an account if a user violates these terms.

11. Privacy Policy

We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms. Our services are hosted in France. If you access the services from another region with different data protection laws, your continued use of the services indicates your consent to transfer and process your data in France.
